There is a lot going on in the Tulsa cyber community right now! The Tulsa Cyber Summit is quickly approaching. It is being hosted by the University of Tulsa’s College of Engineering & Natural Sciences on 24-26 March 2019.
Tulsa Cyber Summit 2019 welcomes information executives, system administrators, and cybersecurity innovators. The Summit includes the latest cybersecurity challenges and strategies, with special focus on the finance, energy, healthcare and transportation sectors.
GPSG is very honored and excited to be invited to support the Summit with our latest cybersecurity and risk management insights! We look forward to re-connecting with friends and partners from across the nation and making new cyber connections.
Our team is putting together two presentations. We will share our latest insights for executive leadership teams on how encryption and integrity controls can strengthen a company’s security posture. Also, we will share our latest insider threat risk management best practices for cyber due diligence for M&A. Our insights come from insider threat risk best practices and real-world incidents.
Preparing your team to deal with an insider threat incident can be challenging. Recent incidents remind us that insider threats can result in significant harm to an organization. For example, physical violence to your workforce, lost productivity, harm to corporate image, and more. We will share actionable insider threat risk management recommendations based on best practices and lessons learned from actual insider incidents.
The Summit includes an informative, elite speaker line up for seniors and hands-on techies alike. For instance, national security expert and former CIA Director John Brennan, Director of Security at Facebook, Aanchal Gupta, cybersecurity expert Daniel Holtzman with USAF, and more.
Other emerging technology Summit topics include: Supply chain, IoT, transportation, critical infrastructure, AI, and more.
We are looking forward to an informative conference with excellent cyber and emerging technology networking opportunities from across the nation. Even better that we get to return to our alma mater, the University of Tulsa, and hometown for this innovative event.
Hope to meet you at the Summit for the first time or re-connect with you there!
